Two Langley Flying School Graduates on the same Pasco Flight Deck

“Every now and then you get one of those great moments when life makes sense", writes Langley Flying School Chief Flying Instructor Dave Parry, “a moment of refreshing clarity when you lift your head briefly from the day-to-day demands of a  flight training unit and you are reminded of why it is all so very worthwhile.”

Parry claims this happened in April when he received the above photograph attached to an email from Ben Orlowski, a Langley Flying School Graduate and former Flight Instructor—Ben is pictured with Phil Craig on the flight deck of a Beach 1900—Phil also graduated from Langley Flying School’s and partnered with Ben during their Flight Instructor training.

"What's incredible is that both these boys worked through their Flight Instructor Ratings together,” says Parry (above photo), and for them to have to grown together into full commercial air transport operations is quite a thing.”

Shortly after this photo was taken in April of 2011, Phil became a Training Captain with Pacific Coastal Airlines, and Ben was picked up by Air Canada Jazz.  Prior to Ben’s move to Jazz, six Langley Flying School graduates were working simultaneously at Pacific Coastal Airlines.
